Job Description
What You Will Do
- Arcitect Solutions: Partner with external and internal customers to understand their unique needs, crafting winning technical proposals for value-added service and upgrade offers.
- Lead Project Delivery: Own the technical delivery of turbine service projects, coordinating resources to drive project schedules while maintaining rigorous engineering Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards.
- Manage Complexity: Oversee the technical integrity of Bills of Material, part definitions, and procurement requirements.
- Influence & Collaborate: Serve as the primary technical interface between Sales, Commercial, Project Management, Sourcing, and Field teams. Act as the "Voice of the Customer" to our internal engineering organizations.
- Leverage Emerging Tech: Use AI and digital platforms to streamline work, boost productivity, and enhance quality.
- Support Field Execution: Develop Field Modification Instructions and provide critical technical support during installation planning and outage activities.
- Drive Excellence: Champion Lean methodology and continuous improvement; assist group leaders in managing priorities and delivering on organizational objectives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience in power generation, specifically with turbine or generator technology, accessories, controls, or balance of plant.
- Strong track record of delivering on complex challenges across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in additional languages being a plus.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience with steam turbine service, upgrade, or new unit projects.
- Familiarity with legacy Alstom and/or legacy GE steam turbine technology and configurations.
- Experience in Application and/or Requisition Engineering.
- Enthusiasm for adopting new technologies, including AI-powered engineering tools, to optimize productivity and process quality.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with global colleagues in a matrixed team environment, and to contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Self-starter mindset with a positive attitude and a track record of reliability in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
