About the role

Lead Electronics Engineer position at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), providing senior engineering support to the Engineering Division. This is a Temporary Appointment Not-to-Exceed (NTE) 1 year, with possible extension up to 3 years. The role serves as technical authority and subject matter expert for communications, electronics, chemical, industrial, and/or mechanical workload, and advises division and branch chiefs on new technology and workload requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering support to the Engineering Division and lead teams of engineers, technicians, technical writers, and configuration managers including GS-12 grade personnel.
• Serve as LEAD technical authority and subject matter expert performing analysis on communications, electronics, chemical, industrial, and/or mechanical workload in the assigned division.
• Advise the division chief and/or branch chiefs, conduct preliminary studies and appraisals
