Akkodis is seeking a Lead Electronic Engineer for a Contract to hire with a client in Dayton, OH.
Your Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing validation strategies for advanced sensing systems, ensuring performance and reliability across lab and field environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage DVP&R plans, ensuring validation strategies align with product requirements and risk assessments.
- Plan and coordinate validation activities across simulation, lab, environmental, and field-testing environments.
- Analyze test results, ensure traceability, and provide recommendations to support product release decisions.
- Track non-conformances, drive root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of validation issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, firmware) to align validation efforts with project timelines.
- Continuously improve validation processes, workflows, and testing methodologies to enhance product quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in electronic validation, verification, or product testing roles.
- Strong expertise in DVP&R planning, validation methodologies, and risk-based testing (FMEA).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional validation efforts, track non-conformances, and ensure successful product validation and release.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $78/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
