Lead Electronic Security Technician, Lvl III

About the Role

As a Lead ES Technician, Level III, you will install, program, service, test, and inspect Fire Alarm, Intrusion Alarm, CCTV/IP-Video, and Access Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and install Intrusion Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV/IP-Video, and Access Control security systems
• Perform testing and inspections on all types of electronic security systems
• Install appropriate devices, dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or management
• Serve as Leader on installation projects, instructing crew and ensuring project is on track
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures
• Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 8+ years of Electronic Security industry experience
• In-depth experience of at least 2 of 4 ES categories: FA, BA, CCTV, Access
• Current OEM certifications and ability to acquire specific OEM certifications provided by company
• Current or ability to acquire Nicet-1 within first 90 days, Nicet-2 within six (6) months
• Excellent experience with commercial cabling and construction practices
• Ability to lead a crew of technicians on projects small to large in scale
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Willingness to be trained on other lines of business: Banking and Retail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work safely on construction sites using ladders and lifts
• Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Vision correctable to 20/20
• Finger dexterity for use of applicable tools
