Lead Electronic Security Technician

About the role

The Lead Electronic Security Technician position is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems. This role requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing security systems to ensure optimal performance
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with clients and other departments to resolve issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic security systems
• Experience with various security system brands and protocols
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check and drug test

Skills

• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data analysis
• Experience with project management tools
