Lead Electrical Engineer | Low Voltage System

Responsibilities

Lead the design, integration, and certification of low voltage electrical systems.

Develop electrical architecture, detailed component electrical and mechanical design, load analyses, and circuit protection schemes.

Own electrical system design releases in CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE.

Manage suppliers for key low voltage components and drive qualification activities.

Drive ARP4754A development processes and certification activities.

Lead requirements verification activities in coordination with adjacent systems and test teams.

Support system verification, aircraft integration, and flight test activities.

Partner with Systems Engineering to deliver certification artifacts and documentation.

Collaborate with Avionics, Flight Controls, High Voltage, and Manufacturing teams.

Manage a small engineering team with direct reports.

Requirements

7+ years of experience designing electrical systems for aircraft.

2+ years of engineering leadership experience.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage engineering deliverables.

Strong understanding of 28 VDC power distribution, DC/DC converters, circuit protection, and battery systems.

Working knowledge of ARP4754A development process, MIL-STD-704, and DO-160.

Experience with requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS, or similar).

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for aircraft (preferred).

Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage engineering deliverables (preferred).

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
