Lead Drop & Count Clerk - Bossier City

Responsibilities

• Assist the Drop and Count Supervisor in collecting and transporting drop boxes from the gaming floor to the count room.
• Count proceeds from drop boxes and other sources like food and beverage cash turn-ins and team member toke turn-ins.
• Ensure adherence to gaming regulations and procedures.
• Complete financial reports and paperwork.
• Maintain budgeted staffing levels and assist in staff development.
• Supervise processes to minimize time loss injuries.
• Review and discuss drop and count room activities with the supervisor.
• Communicate with departmental supervisors and managers as needed.

Requirements

• Dependable with the ability to work early mornings, extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods, including using wrapping machines, conveyors, weigh scales, and scanners.
• Proficient in reading and understanding basic instructions and performing basic math calculations.
• Capable of speaking and hearing clearly.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data, policies, and casino operations.

Must Haves

• GED or High School diploma.
• Exposure to an alcohol and smoking environment.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

• Present self in a well-groomed, friendly, and professional manner.
• Able to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Work in locations with loud noise, visual distractions, and temperature changes.
• Standing 100%, Walking 50%, Bending/Lifting up to 75 lbs., Pulling/Pushing up to 75 lbs. with help.
