Core Responsibilities
- Ensure all centers are operationally efficient and optimize resources for patients.
- Own and expand focus on patient experience by gathering information from teammates and patients.
- Manage schedules, respond to patients, and improve clinical outcomes.
- Identify and solve operational issues with center-level leadership and create sustainable solutions.
- Promote standardization to OSH best practices and SOPs for quality control.
- Implement clinic operations programming and improvements.
- Communicate with corporate clinical operations teams to provide feedback on new initiatives.
- Work with regional leadership to assess workflow impacts across service, outreach, and clinical teams.
- Act as the subject matter expert for corporate initiatives related to clinical implementation and project management.
- Leverage best practices for clinical implementation and project management.
- Develop and manage center operations leaders.
- Create a collaborative culture among operational leaders in the region.
- Onboard, train, and coach new Practice Managers, focusing on their performance, quality, and other metrics.
- Support Practice Managers in team development and foster a regional cohort culture for service and clinical team members.
- Lead efforts in partnership with other regional leaders to support overall employee engagement scores.
- Cultivate Oak Street Health’s mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be within the region.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a clinical or medical setting, with at least 2 years of multi-center experience.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- Incredible organizational, reliability, and independence.
- A passion for mentorship and team development.
- A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization.
- Travel required to centers within the geography (80%).
