Lead Director, Proposal Writing

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal writing strategy aligned with business goals and capture priorities
• Support proposal writers through kickoff meetings and status checks throughout the proposal process
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to enhance messaging and competitive positioning
• Build and lead high-performing proposal teams while motivating team members
• Translate strategic insights into persuasive proposal narratives that showcase organizational value
• Manage proposal performance metrics to ensure quality and timeliness of submissions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading high-performing teams through coaching and clear communication
• 5+ years creating Medicaid proposal responses targeting specific audiences
• 10+ years of proposal writing experience within Federal, Medicaid, or Healthcare sectors
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Experience guiding proposal strategies with key stakeholders
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities with creative solutions
