Lead Direct Support Staff - HAB Program

About the role

The Lead Direct Support Staff plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities within the HAB program. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Provide direct support services to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct regular assessments and document client progress in accordance with agency standards.
• Train and mentor new staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience leading and managing a team.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
