Lead Direct Support Professional - West Lake Cottage 4: Full Time 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Encourage positive relationship building & Promote Independence
• Elevate employee relations concerns to supervisor. May assist supervisor on special projects.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to staff on shift in coordination with the supervisor. This may include, but not be limited to scheduling, training, compliance, on-call pager, and administrative supports.
• Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
• Cooking/Meal Prep/Dietary Support
• Caregiving, including Medication Administration/Health Monitoring

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED with 1 year experience in applicable setting required
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to pass background checks as applicable
• Possess basic computer skills
