Job Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Give medications and follow health plans (training provided)
  • Drive individuals to appointments, work, or fun activities
  • Help people build life skills and try new things
  • Encourage individuals to speak up and make their own choices
  • Keep clear records and fill out forms as needed
  • Communicate with coworkers, families, and medical staff
  • Mentor and support other staff on your shift
  • Help with money tracking, supplies, and scheduling
  • Keep the home safe and follow emergency steps if needed

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • One to three years of experience in direct care or a health-related job
  • Pass background checks and drug test
  • Complete CPR, First Aid, and Medication training
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
