Lead Developer 1

Position is available in Northern VA; requires US citizenship and ability to obtain public-trust clearance.

About the role

Lead a high-performing Agile team in designing and implementing business solutions for an enterprise Asset Marketing and Management suite of applications.

Responsibilities

• Advise others on detailed specifications for translating requirements into structured application programs that conform to established CIOO methodology and standards.
• Accountable for on-time completion of work to meet business performance expectations.
• Supervise the writing and revision of program documentation, application operational procedures, and client user guides in accordance with standards and client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on lead-developer experience, developing code and managing projects using the required technology stack.
• Expert knowledge of the software tools, platforms, and processes listed in the technology stack.
• Expert knowledge of databases and related tools/utilities; strong problem-solving skills and a proven record of working well in a team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in analysis, leadership, and communication (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise IT applications.
• Hands-on experience with the specified technology stack: Azure Cloud, Java/SQL Server VM, WebSphere VM, Business Objects, Infosphere, Documentum, Java/Oracle/WebLogic, APEX, Oracle, Cloud.gov (AWS).
• Excellent understanding and experience with Enterprise Architectures, Cloud Migration, Enterprise Security, and Systems Modernization.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and related tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users, the team, and leadership.
• Innovative, results-oriented, and focused on delivering on time and with quality.
