Lead Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a shared codebase and components in Figma
• Create interactive components with high attention to detail in design specifications
• Collaborate with product designers to ensure design fidelity in production
• Review and provide feedback on designer pull requests related to UI and design systems
• Enhance product accessibility through direct contributions and team support
• Deliver flexible components for product teams to ensure consistent user experience
• Maintain design system documentation for easy self-service by team members

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product development experience combining design and engineering skills
• Portfolio or project links showcasing technical skills and design aesthetics
• Experience managing design systems at production scale, including documentation and versioning
• High-level front-end skills with a focus on motion design
• Proficient in Figma for creating design resources for teams
• Excellent communicator capable of conveying complex design system concepts
