Lead Design Engineer
About the role
Design Engineers are required to develop layouts and electrical designs for solar PV systems adhering to NEC, IEEE, and NESC requirements. They also manage the procurement of electrical BOS components.
- Experience with developing layouts and electrical designs for solar PV systems as per NEC, IEEE, and NESC requirements.
- Experience with procurement of electrical BOS components.
Requirements
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Design Engineer.
- Experience must include developing layouts and electrical designs for solar PV systems as per NEC, IEEE and NESC requirements.
- Experience with procurement of electrical BOS components.
Qualifications
In lieu of Master’s + 1 year experience, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above mentioned field of study and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as Design Engineer or any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
