Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
• Oversee sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and organized operatory.
• Train and mentor junior dental assistants, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant, with leadership experience a plus.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
