Responsibilities

  • Prioritize patient care and ensure the best outcomes for them.
  • Stay knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Supervise and monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.).
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
  • Drive team excellence by leading dynamic staff meetings, delivering impactful training, and pioneering innovative problem-solving strategies.
  • Collaborate with the doctor and other team leaders on resolving conflicts that affect daily operations.
  • Support the overall goals and strategies per the Annual Plan.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to complete ordering of dental supplies.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certifications as required by the state (e.g., Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF)).

Qualifications

  • Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Denticon (preferred).
  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification (preferred).

Schedule

  • Monday: 6:45am – 4:00pm
  • Tuesday: 6:45am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 6:45am – 4:00pm
  • Thursday: 5:45am – 3:00pm
  • Friday: Off
  • No weekends.
