KPIs & Standard Reporting
The Senior Decision Analyst is responsible for delivering KPIs and standard reporting to Senior Bank leadership.
Ownership Over Ad-Hoc Analysis/Insights
Ownership over ad-hoc analysis and insights needed to grow Huntington’s Digital reach is a key responsibility.
Identify and Lead Opportunities
- Identify and lead opportunities to standardize across business lines and improve coding practices and analytical techniques.
Skills Required
- Critical thinking to come up with the right questions and solve problems.
- Ability to define the data necessary for strategy, problem-solving, or recommendations.
- Quickly learn about the data environment to source data and query large datasets across multiple databases.
- Analyze results of queries to create meaningful insights.
- Effectively visualize and summarize work product for a variety of audiences.
- Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Effectively produce visuals to communicate options and recommendations to decision makers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, mathematical disciplines, finance, economics, or other technical degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics/data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services.
- Strong knowledge and working experience in database querying with SQL.
- Strong knowledge and working experience in data manipulation tools such as R, or Python.
- Experience presenting analytical findings to a non-technical audience to guide business decision-making.
- Advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D., JD, etc.).
- Experience working with data mining models, structures, theories, principles, and practices, including machine learning, statistics and text mining techniques.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
- Experience with AWS Sagemaker and Athena.
- Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with agentic AI coding tools.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $93,000.00 - $189,000.00 USD annually. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
