Why join You're the sole on-site network and ICT resource full ownership, no committee, no waiting on someone else to make the callWork inside live, active build-out physical-layer issues here hit real customer workloads, and your fix is the fixDirect exposure to high-density AI infrastructure and fabrics most technicians never get nearYou set the documentation and escalation standard Network Operations builds on your fingerprints stay on how the site runsRelocation handled end-to-end you're not solving your own logistics problem on top of a new job Role scope Serve as the on-site Tier 3 escalation point for network and structured-cabling incidents across the site's AI infrastructureTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve physical-layer faults; validate repairs and drive rapid resolution of issues hitting customer workloadsAct as the escalation path for Tier 1 and 2 technicians; partner with Network Operations on deeper investigationsOwn structured cabling and fiber infrastructure; interpret device-level diagnostics to confirm a physical repair restored connectivityEscalate out-of-scope issues to Network Operations with clear documentation, and own resolution as the sole on-site network and ICT resource Who We're Looking For You've been the on-site network or cable-plant specialist in a data center, owning physical-layer troubleshooting end to endYou know structured cabling and fiber deeply testing, termination, fault isolation and read device diagnostics well enough to validate repairsYou have enough network fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, optics) to bridge cabling and the network stackYou operate as the sole escalation resource on-site and take incidents through to resolutionYou document rigorously, so Network Operations can pick up cleanly when an issue exceeds on-site scopeBonus: high-density AI or hyperscale fabrics, fiber certification (BICSI, Fluke), optical transport, InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet What's Required Willingness to relocate to Louisiana, Texas or Indiana the company covers moving costs, housing search, and all logisticsComfort operating in a fast-moving, high-trust environment with real stakes attached to your output Compensation & Benefits Competitive total compensation (salary + equity), retirement/pension in line with local norms, health/dental/vision insurance, generous PTO.
