Lead Data Analyst

At Collective Health, we're transforming health benefits engagement with cutting-edge technology, compassionate service, and world-class UX design. The Lead Data Analyst role is for a self-starter who leads complex analyses, advises key stakeholders, and delivers impactful reports.
What You'll Do
Own the analytics lifecycle for leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment with clinical and financial objectives.
Act as the primary analytics lead for top-tier client requests, moving from requirements to solutions that solve complex healthcare business challenges.
Establish and uphold data integrity standards, guiding peers on SQL optimization, logic validation, and data governance.
Oversee reporting roadmaps and project lifecycles using Jira and Confluence, maintaining transparency and technical documentation.
Translate dense healthcare findings into compelling narratives and high-level presentations, bridging technical complexity with business-critical decision-making.
Lead high-priority routine and ad-hoc analyses, including internal and external audits, delivering insights in accelerated timeframes.
Identify bottlenecks in the data lifecycle and partner with Data Engineering and Data Architecture teams to implement automated, scalable solutions.
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics, specifically analyzing healthcare claims data, population health, and member experience.
Strong analytical rigor, critical thinking, and initiative.
Proven track record of mastering new data environments and complex healthcare schemas with minimal training.
Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and building visualizations/models in Looker (or comparable tools).
Experience working directly with health care claims and/or member experience data at a payer, provider, tech company, TPA, or point solution.
Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira for task management and Confluence for process documentation.
Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders and non-technical issues effectively to technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.

Pay Transparency
San Francisco, CA Pay Range: $137,500 USD - $171,875 USD
Lehi, UT Pay Range: $110,000 USD - $137,500 USD
Plano, TX Pay Range: $121,000 USD - $151,250 USD
