Lead Custodian - Propel East

Job Summary

Propel Schools is seeking a Lead Custodian for their Facilities Department at Propel East. This full-time position is available immediately and works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with some weekends and evenings required. The Lead Custodian ensures assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained to promote a clean school environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Ability to perform physical labor, including moving furniture and equipment, lifting, climbing ladders, etc.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, floor strippers, buffers, carpet shampooers, high pressure sprayers, and snow blowers.
• Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
• Extremely organized and possesses effective communication and basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of housekeeping, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Preferred 18 months custodial experience and supervisory experience.

Compensation and Benefits
