The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) is the fourth-largest school district in California located in southern Sacramento County. EGUSD covers 320 square miles and includes 62 traditional public schools, five alternative education schools, an adult school, one charter school and a virtual academy. Responsibilities

  • Support the mission and vision of EGUSD by contributing to the success of students, staff, and the community.
  • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and programs that promote student achievement and support the educational goals of EGUSD.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of instructional strategies to improve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Valid California teaching credential or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in relevant field or related area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Pass background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in educational leadership or administration.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
