Lead Custodian

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance: Police outside grounds for trash; clean tables and benches; empty trash cans and ash urns in smoking areas; keep flower beds clear of debris.
• Building Maintenance: Sweep down cobwebs at all building entrances; sweep all building entrances and patios; spot clean inside and outside of glass doors; remove gum from outside entrances with a scraper; spot clean interior walls for smudges and stains; empty trash cans and replace liners as needed; spot vacuum and spot mop floors and carpets as needed; pick up debris from plants and planters; clean water fountains twice daily; wipe down inside and outside of windowsills as needed; prepare conference rooms before and after important meetings; keep kitchen and breakroom areas clean.
• Restroom Maintenance: Complete restroom service daily; restock paper supplies and empty trash as needed; sanitize commodes, urinals, and sinks; spot clean mirrors; sweep floors and pick up debris; spot mop floors as needed.
• Custodial Closets: Clean and maintain custodial closets; keep closets organized and free of clutter.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. Part Time, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
