Job Summary

Captures the essence of the role by coordinating with supervisors and managers to ensure timely and quality exams are conducted. Plays a pivotal role in supporting managers, supervisors, or directors.

Shift Info

Weekend overnight shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00PM-7:30AM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
  • Applies broad range of skills to ensure advanced exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Coordinates with the Supervisor Radiology and Manager Radiology to maintain adequate staffing model for the shift.
  • Aids in the orientation and training of new staff.

Technical Capabilities

  • Patient Documentation (Advanced): Demonstrates expertise in patient documentation in challenging and complex situations.
  • People Management (Novice): Conducts performance reviews, delegates tasks, coaches subordinates, and involves them in decision-making.
  • Compliance (Advanced): Demonstrates expert knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and contributes to their development.
  • Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Advanced): Demonstrates expertise in applying anatomy and physiology knowledge in challenging and complex situations.
  • Computerized Tomography Technology (Advanced): Demonstrates expertise in applying computerized tomography technology in challenging and complex situations.

Position Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Education: Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
