CT Technologist Lead Weekends
Position Summary
The Lead Technologist assists in the daily operation of the CT Scan department, coordinates testing procedures with other modalities, performs quality assurance tests, maintains accurate records, and assists in maintaining equipment logs and scheduling maintenance.
Assists in developing schedules for the clinical team, ensuring productivity, expediting patient flow, and maintaining communication to ensure service excellence. Demonstrates flexibility and resolves customer problems.
Maintains inventory levels, ensures sufficient supplies are available, performs all CT procedures, demonstrates advanced knowledge of human anatomy and pathology, and works with the Operations Managers to maintain ACR and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in IT systems including PACS and Cerner. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
- Frequent assistance in lifting patients and heavy equipment.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, make sound decisions, be detail-oriented, alert, and self-motivated.
- Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
Threshold Requirements
- Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation.
- TB/PPD Surveillance Program.
- Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
