Lead CT Technologist-Radiology Technologist
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Rad/CT Tech Lead works in conjunction with the Imaging Manager, Director, and Medical Staff to improve patient and work flow via providing support, education, and leadership to the technical staff. This position supports the mission and vision of the Medical City Arlington.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CT area of the Imaging Department. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and policies necessary for job performance, including neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.
Collaborates with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives. Coordinates the work activities of assigned staff associates and patient scheduling. Maintains and achieves daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management. Prioritizes work and meets deadlines. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when necessary.
Qualifications
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- No travel required
- 2 years experience required
