Lead CT Technologist

Role Overview: A CT Technologist performs a variety of advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, quality diagnostics, and departmental efficiency. They set up equipment, position patients, and execute protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings, while providing patient care with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities: Verify orders, assess patient history, administer contrast media, ensure proper identification, review images, respond to emergencies, and maintain patient privacy. They operate imaging equipment, perform quality control, and support departmental operations, including supply management and documentation. They also mentor colleagues and participate in process improvements. Leadership & Collaboration: Manage workflow, communicate staff concerns, collaborate on protocols, and assist with onboarding and competency assessments. They serve as a liaison across departments and support regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills: Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, at least 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in CT. Must possess excellent communication, technical proficiency, patient care skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties: Perform diagnostic exams, ensure image quality, operate and troubleshoot equipment, teach staff, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional patient service.
