Job Summary

This position sits onsite at the Patient Logistics Center in Tamarac, Florida. This is a day shift position, 7am-7pm. 3 (12) hour shifts per week. Weekends required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Completion of advanced CT education or structured CT training program.
  • Associate of Science Degree or 2 Year Certificate in Radiology Technology, preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of CT imaging experience.
  • Previous Lead Technologist, Supervisor, or informal leadership experience, preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site imaging operations, preferred.
  • Current State Radiologic Technologist License, as applicable.
  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Expert knowledge of CT imaging principles, protocols, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiation safety.
  • Advanced understanding of CT workflow management and remote imaging operations.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging systems and remote imaging platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing operational demands.
  • Ability to function effectively in high-volume and high-acuity environments.

What You Will Do

  • Performs all responsibilities of the CT Technologist – Remote Imaging role.
  • Serves as the operational lead for assigned shifts and acts as the primary resource for CT Remote Imaging staff.
  • Provides guidance and support to CT technologists regarding imaging protocols, workflow management, patient safety concerns, and operational issues.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact during assigned shifts in the absence of department leadership.
  • Assists in maintaining efficient workflow across supported facilities and remote imaging operations.
  • Maintains remote CT imaging operations to ensure adherence to established workflows, protocols, quality standards, and service expectations.
  • Serves as a liaison between remote and centralized imaging technicians, facility staff, physicians, and leadership to ensure imaging services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Supports disaster preparedness, downtime procedures, and emergency operational plans.
  • Assists leadership with quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participates in auditing imaging procedures, protocols, and documentation for compliance.
  • Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and competency validation of new CT Remote Imaging staff.
  • Supports education related to CT imaging protocols, technology updates, workflow processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Assists with operational reporting, data collection, and performance monitoring.
  • Participates in department meetings, committees, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific patient care requirements for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
