About the role
We're looking for a dedicated Lead CSR Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve.
Responsibilities
- Operates sterilizing equipment on a daily basis.
- Reprocesses all re-usable instruments (decontamination, set identification, preparation, sterilization) with load control numbers on the item.
- Maintains adequate sterile supply levels in the operating room and other units.
- Aids in the development of policies and procedures to ensure department standards are met.
- Assumes responsibility as a lead technician to help train others.
- Monitors the cleaning, sorting, inspecting and grouping of instruments to be wrapped and sterilized.
- Recognizes urgent sterile instruments or sets based on surgical schedule, surgical booking and room requests and responds immediately.
- Verifies with Operating Room staff that proper instruments, sets and equipment are on hand and working properly.
- Provides accurate and complete information, identifies service-related problems, and suggests improvements.
- Records all instruments processed in daily logs and files according to procedure.
- Assists in cleaning and inspecting floor equipment, monitors and documents biological/bowie-dick testing, temperature and time cycles, and reports malfunctions.
- Cleans and monitors all necessary equipment.
- Leads, schedules, and trains new employees.
- Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning lists are completed by CSR staff.
- Aids in developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures for the department.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of central supply experience.
- Registered CST required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.

Pay
$23.76 - $39.01/hour based on verified education and experience.
Schedule
Shift/Schedule: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
