Position Duties
- Prepares food for cooking, frying, sautéing, baking, etc.
- Maintains stock and cleans work station
- Keeps kitchen area and equipment clean and sanitized
- Prepares dishes efficiently within appropriate time frame
- Ensures excellent quality of food
- Involves in monthly inventory and invoicing
- Ensures kitchen and restaurant are clean, organized, and meet standards and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of cook experience
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift
- Must be able to work in an environment including a hot stove, fryers, etc.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach
