We are seeking a Cook who will play an essential role in creating a restaurant-style dining experience across our two Mason senior living communities. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their culinary skills, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and brings a hospitality-driven, resident-first mindset to their work.

Responsibilities

• Execute organized, consistent, and timely meal preparation across multiple stations
• Maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety
• Execute ticketed orders in collaboration with the Director of Culinary and Sous Chef
• Keep station clean and well stocked
• Contribute to a positive dining experience that enhances daily life for residents

Pay

Starting at $16/hr, based on years of experience

Schedule

Day and evening shifts; weekend availability required

Requirements

• Competent cooking skills and ability to follow recipes
• Interest in learning and ability to quickly grasp new knowledge
• Ability to use ingredients in the right proportion and awareness of exact food preparation procedures
• Ability to garnish food following specific plating desired by the chef
• Knowledge of food safety, safe food processing, and preserving raw food
• Patience and a love for cooking
• 18 years of age or older
