Lead Cook (Crestview)

About the role

The Lead Cook at Crestview will oversee the kitchen staff and ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with school district policies and nutritional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Plan and prepare meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
• Ensure adherence to food service policies and procedures
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
• Collaborate with administrative staff to meet special events and dietary needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid food handler’s permit
• Experience in a commercial kitchen setting
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning
