Lead Cook

About the role

Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook for Leelanau County Jail in Suttons Bay, MI.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a structured correctional environment
• Read and follow company recipes
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00am - 6:00pm)
• C clearance approval into the facility
• Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate
