Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Washtenaw County Jail in Ann Arbor, MI. The position offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including:

Responsibilities

Lead Cook responsibilities include:

• Work well in a structured correctional environment
• Read and follow company recipes
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 5:00am and 8:30pm)
• Clearance approval into the facility
• Previous food service or kitchen experience (but training will be provided for the right candidate)
