About the role

Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook for Antrim County Jail in Bellaire, MI.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Read and follow company recipes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:30am - 6:30pm).
• C clearance approval into the facility.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
