The Lead Cook is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and managing staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and high-quality meals.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage and train kitchen staff.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet operational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience.
- Experience leading a kitchen team.
- Valid Food Handlers’ Permit.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Proficient in using culinary equipment and software.
