Lead Cook - AM Shift: Full-Time Only

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing meal ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and vegetables, as well as marinating meats.
• Prepare soups, salads, and sauces following the instructions of the head cook.
• Plate and garnish meal items according to the directions provided by the head cook.
• Supervise the work of line cooks to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed promptly.
• Ensure that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Keep all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces clean and disinfected before and after each shift.
• Adequately assess the quality of delivered food supplies to ensure they meet restaurant standards.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards.
• Properly document on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Oversee breakfast, banquet, and kitchen production.
• Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve.
• Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner.
• Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
