Lead Controls Designer
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We need to parse the job description. Key content: - Job Description Summary: "Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance." - About us: "Grid Solutions, a GE Vernova Renewable Energy business, serves customers globally. We provide power utilities and industries worldwide with equipment, systems, and services to bring power reliably and efficiently from the point of generation to end power consumers. We are focused on addressing the challenges of the energy transition by enabling the safe and reliable connection of renewable and distributed energy resources to the grid." - Why We Come To Work At GE Vernova Renewable Energy, ... (some fluff). Might be considered "About us" or maybe "Company overview". Could be part of About us. We'll keep as part of About us. - Essential Responsibilities: list of bullet points. - Required Qualifications: bullet points. - Desired Characteristics: bullet points. - Salary range: "The salary range for this position is 88,600.00 - 118,100.00 USD Annual." Also later: "For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00." There's some duplication and maybe conflicting numbers. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include both statements? They are both about pay. Might be considered duplication but they are slightly different numbers. We need to keep both? The instruction: "Remove duplicated lines". If they are duplicated lines (identical), we remove duplicates. These are not identical; they differ. So we keep both? Might be considered overlapping but both are substantive. We'll include both statements maybe in Pay section. - Benefits: multiple paragraphs describing healthcare, retirement, other benefits. Also later: "Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; access to Health Coach from GE Vernova, a 24/7 nurse-based resource; and access to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services. Retirement benefits include the GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan, a tax-advantaged 401(k) savings opportunity with company matching contributions and company retirement contributions, as well as access to Fidelity resources and financial planning consultants. Other benefits include tuition assistance, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, disability benefits, life insurance, 12 paid holidays, and permissive time off." We need to combine benefits info, avoid duplication. We'll create a Benefits section with bullet list. - Schedule: Not mentioned explicitly. There's travel up to 10% maybe but not schedule. No schedule info. So we should not create Schedule section. - Pay: we have salary range statements. We'll create Pay section with those statements (maybe as
). - Skills: maybe not explicit separate section; but we have "Excellent personal computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word, AutoCAD Electrical, and MicroStation." That's a skill. Also "Electrical schematic drawing experience", "Proficient in Standard Drafting practices", "Knowledge of and experience using IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NEC, AUS, CSA, and NESC standards and codes". Those could be under Skills or Qualifications. We have Required Qualifications and Desired Characteristics sections. We could put skill bullets under Skills section if we want, but we already have Required Qualifications and Desired Characteristics. The instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We could combine Skills into Required Qualifications or Desired Characteristics. But we already have Required Qualifications (Associate's degree, 3 years experience, travel). Desired Characteristics list includes many skill-like items. So we can keep Required Qualifications and Desired Characteristics sections. Skills section may be redundant. We'll omit Skills. - About the role: maybe we have Job Description Summary which could be "About the role". We'll use
About the role
for that summary. - About us: we have About us paragraph and Why We Come To Work... We'll combine into About us section. - Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities list. - Requirements: maybe we have Required Qualifications as Requirements. Could useRequirements
for Required Qualifications. - Qualifications: maybe Desired Characteristics as Qualifications. But we already used Requirements for Required Qualifications. Could rename: UseQualifications
for Desired Characteristics. Or we could have both Requirements and Qualifications. The instruction list includes both Requirements and Qualifications as possible headings. We'll use Requirements for Required Qualifications, and Qualifications for Desired Characteristics. - Benefits: as described. - Pay: salary range statements. We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, legal disclaimer, etc. Also remove duplicated lines like "GE Vernova offers a great work environment..." etc. Also remove "Projected Close Date: August 1st, 2025" maybe considered metadata but not a heading; we could fold into a shortmaybe but it's minor metadata. The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we could include a short paragraph for metadata like Projected Close Date, maybe also "This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on September 16, 2026." That's also metadata. We could include them in a
under maybe a generic "Details" but we don't have a heading for that. Better to drop them? The instruction says fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. We could include a short
at the end with those details. But we need to avoid creating extra sections. We could just include a
after the sections containing that info. However, we must not create a heading for it. So we can just add a
with that info. But we need to preserve ALL substantive information. Is the projected close date substantive? It's metadata about posting; maybe not essential to job but still info. We'll include it in a
at the end. Also need to remove duplicated lines: there are repeated benefit descriptions. We'll consolidate. Now craft HTML. Structure:
