Location: Montgomery office

What You Will Do

• Oversee all contract-related activities, ensuring proper structure, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead and supervise a team of Contract Managers, managing the contract administration process efficiently and in line with project timelines.
• Oversee the entire contract procurement process, from preparation to execution, including Subcontracts, Purchase Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Material Requisitions.
• Collaborate with in-house legal teams to lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers for favorable terms and project objectives.
• Drive accountability for timely completion of procurement deliverables by ensuring all agreements are executed promptly and by proactively addressing internal and external stakeholder issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, policies, and procedures.
• Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, project management, and procurement staff to support contract strategy, risk mitigation, and operational execution across all projects.
• Provide strategic analysis and reporting on contract performance, cost impacts, and procurement risks, delivering clear, actionable briefings to executive leadership.
• Direct financial oversight for assigned projects, preparing, reviewing, and communicating project financials, identifying variances, trends, and risks, and recommending corrective actions.
• Support audit readiness and compliance efforts, working with operations and external agencies to ensure all documentation meets regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Establish and enforce vendor qualification standards, evaluating subcontractor bonds, insurance, and overall risk profiles.

Education / Experience

• Minimum high school diploma/GED
• Four-year degree in construction management, building science, engineering, etc., is preferred
• Five to seven years of construction experience in government contracts

Current Clearance

A current Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance is required.

Salary Range

The salary range is typically between $62,100 – $93,200 annually. Applicants are encouraged to share their compensation expectations during the application process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft software – Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access Database
• Ability to read and negotiate contracts
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Ability to perform financial analysis
• Ability to operate office equipment – copier, fax, etc.
