About the role

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a hybrid position based in Tampa, FL; relocation assistance is not offered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Build, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
  • Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, network configurations, and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for cloud environments.
  • Ensure disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity requirements are met.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53, ECS/EKS.
  • Strong experience with Azure services: Virtual Machines, VNets, Azure Storage, AKS, Azure App Services, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
