Lead Consultant | Big Data - NoSQL | Graph Databases

About the role

The Lead Graph Developer will be responsible for designing and managing production scale instances of Amazon Neptune, architecting and scaling database environments, integrating knowledge graphs into GraphRAG pipelines, and partnering with AI teams to implement hybrid search architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, and graph schemas that reflect complex business structures.
• Arcitect, configure, and scale Amazon Neptune database environments to handle billions of relationships.
• Integrate knowledge graphs into GraphRAG pipelines to enhance contextual grounding and minimize AI hallucinations.
• Partner with AI teams to implement hybrid search architectures combining graph traversals with vector databases.

Requirements

• Must have extensive hands-on experience designing and managing production scale instances of Amazon Neptune.
• Extensive experience with graph languages such as Gremlin or SPARQL.
• Advanced production coding skills in Python or JVM environments, including Java and Scala.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services such as AWS S3, Amazon RDS, and Amazon ECS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Architecture, or a related field.
