About the role

We are seeking a full-time Lead Community Banking Associate to join our team and work on-site at our South Williamsport Community Office. This role performs a variety of duties to support the paying and receiving functions of the community office, coordinates work within the department, reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, and responds to inquiries or requests for information.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all paying and receiving, balancing, and operational activities are done efficiently and according to policy, including the activities of Community Banking Associate personnel, ATM services, and other paying and receiving tasks.
  • Ensures Community Banking Associate staff works as part of the customer service team and takes advantage of new business referral opportunities.
  • Coordinates Community Banking Associate work to align with other positions in the office, centralized operations personnel, and other departments.
  • Prepares related reports as assigned by the Assistant Community Office Manager.
  • Ensures Community Banking Associates have an adequate supply of cash to conduct business and maintains cash levels according to approved cash management policies.
  • Balances and maintains currency and coin.
  • Orders all currency and coin for the office, ships extra money, and orders/maintains office supplies.
  • Maintains cash management records and balances vault cash daily.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, safety, and soundness, as well as the Bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act).

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of Teller experience.
  • Moderate reading, writing, grammar, analytical, and math skills.
  • Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills; must be professional and courteous.
  • Proficient eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to operate various office machines.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays. 37.5 hours per week, based on South Williamsport Office hours.
