Lead Commercial Loan Closing Specialist, Asset Based Lending Deal Closer

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Closing Specialist in Capital Finance as a part of Wholesale Lending Operations Division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. In This Role, You Will:

• Complete pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial loans
• Coordinate loan closings, perform customer, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance
• Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
• Research complex business and operational decisions
• Review and prepare loan related documents
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and training to peers and may have limited supervisory responsibilities
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal and external customers
• Organize legal documents, internal documents and post-closing items
• Cook up funding logistics for new financings, participations and complex restructures
• Review cash management arrangements; modify cash management structures, including preparation and negotiation of cash management agreements and set-up of accounts
• Collect, review and negotiate acceptable insurance certificates and endorsements
• Facilitate the issuance of letters of credit.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Asset Based Lending
• Paralegal and/or finance experience
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Law
• Knowledge of Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACAs) and cash management systems
• Proficient in reading and understanding complex loan documentation
• Commercial Insurance knowledge

• This position will work a hybrid schedule - 3 days in office, 2 remote

Pay Range

$104,000.00 - $168,000.00
