About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit (HHN). This role will lead and support a team of business development individuals in sourcing new Commercial Bank clients by cultivating relationships through existing networks. The HHN team covers large institutional clients seeking complex solutions in depository credit, treasury management, and investment banking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through relationship management, understanding client needs, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
  • Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers.
  • Offer the full suite of complex solutions to meet client needs by engaging product organizations, leveraging a deep understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions.
  • Make decisions in complex, multi-faceted situations within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Strategically collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients by cultivating relationships through existing networks.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback and recommendations on client and market needs to enhance credit solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of banking relationship management experience within healthcare, higher-education, and cultural/service NFP industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and expand client relationships, as well as develop new client relationships in the HHN space.
  • Established network of client relationships and centers of influence in the HHN space.
  • Ability to obtain the Municipal Finance Professional ("MFP") designation.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and analyze growth opportunities based on market potential.
  • Proven ability to manage reputational risks.
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and communicate to internal and external key stakeholders.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements.

Pay

$167,000.00 - $260,000.00 base pay range. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
