About the role
Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Lead CNA to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. We reimburse $0.725/mile for travel. The schedule for this position is Monday Through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with working providing in home care on a 8th weekend rotation schedule.
Job Duties & Skills Required
- Supports the Participant Center Manager including monthly schedules, training new employees, directing staff in daily operations, and providing coverage for the Participant Center Manager during their absence.
- Aids in the organization and implementation of the activity programs.
- Maintains the health status of participants and ensures a safe environment.
- Serves under the direct supervision of the Participant Center Manager and works with indirect supervision from various departments including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Clinic, Dietary, Recreational Therapy, and Transportation.
- Supports the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the absence of the Participant Center Manager.
Skills & Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and own reliable vehicle.
