Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Assure assigned activities are performed in accordance with Quality Management System
- Lead team in creating, revising, and optimizing offline and online CMM programs/reports
- Create CMM set up and operational instructions
- Analyze and interpret CMM reports
- Train and oversee CMM use by inspectors
- Train other CMM Programmers on more technically involved parts/processes
- Ensure daily, weekly maintenance of CMM machines
- Maintain CMM Software (Calypso)
- Store and back up programs and data from CMM machines
- Support QC team with FAI, In-Process, or Final Inspection activities
- Prepare detailed inspection reports
- Provide technical assistance and training
- Stay current with GD&T standards, terminology, and inspection methodologies
- Understand and follow internal inspection procedures and maintain inspection records
- Understand and maintain ERP system per company policies
- Be willing to perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Eligible to obtain Secret level security clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- First Article Inspection experience and data reporting
- Proven ability to troubleshoot CMM faults
- CMM work experience required
- Aerospace experience desired
- 5+ years CMM software programming experience
- Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Willingness to work overtime
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness and ability to take on leadership roles
