About the role

GDIT's Lead Cloud Software Developers transform technology into opportunity by guiding and shaping the direction of teams engaged in mission-critical government projects, ensuring the safety and well-being of vital systems while simultaneously growing and developing their skills and their teams for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, architectures, deploys and maintains cloud solutions.
  • Maintains the integrity and security of systems.
  • Supports and develops automation.
  • Develops in languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js.
  • Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al.

Requirements

  • Education: Technical Training, Certificate, or Degree required, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience: 8+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing.
  • Required Skills: Proficiency in the following languages: Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js; Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture; Linux OS experience; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions; Design and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL tools; Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization; Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization; Prior experience as a Team Lead and/or Manager.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Schedule

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: Less than 10%

Telecommuting Options: Remote Work Location: Any Location / Remote
