Lead Cleaner Evening shift

About the role

A Cleaning Lead at Velociti Services is responsible for leading a team of cleaners in their cleaning tasks. The cleaning lead ensures all work areas are cleaned to Velociti Services and client standards, responds to clients' enquiries and specific requests, and communicates clients' cleaning requests to their teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all cleaning staff, focusing on performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and behavior while on duty
• Ensure a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the worksite/building
• Review work schedules
• Keep track of inventory, order cleaning materials/supplies and equipment
• Monitor all cleaning activities
• Ensure all staff are aware of Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Quickly resolve disputes between staff
• Train new employees
• Fill in and perform general cleaning as needed
• Communicate with management
• Resolve complaints and conflicts
• Discipline and reward employees
• Maintain good relationships with customers
• Conduct worksite inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• High School Graduate or higher preferred
• Valid driver's license and MVR required

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Stand for extended periods of time
