Lead Cleaner- 2nd Shift
About the role
This position involves daily interior cleaning tasks, including waste disposal, floor and carpet cleaning, restroom maintenance, and occasional exterior cleaning and maintenance. The role requires prompt reporting of spills and emergencies, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of interior spaces including emptying waste receptacles, debris and trash removal, vacuuming/shampooing floors and carpets, dusting and cleaning furniture, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing walls, polishing, mopping floors, placing down mats/runners in inclement weather, cleaning up spills, cleaning windows and window coverings, etc.
- Performing exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance tasks such as exterior walls and windows, parking lots and structures, walkways and paths, gardens and lawns, outdoor furnishings, pools/spas, curbs/gutters, exterior hallways, and stairwells.
- Assisting with minor maintenance and repair work, including painting, replacing light bulbs and fixtures, replacing windows, moving furniture and equipment, repairing doors and gates, simple landscaping, and plumbing and fixture repairs.
- Assisting with inventory control and supply ordering, snow removal (including salting/sanding), and tenant moves.
- Notifying management of spills, emergency situations, and other safety concerns.
- Using and operating related equipment, tools, devices, and chemical/cleaning agents safely and efficiently.
Requirements
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment, reliable, thorough, observant, organized, flexible, and courteous, effective listener and team player, some cleaning experience and basic mechanical knowledge preferred.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- Some related experience
Skills
Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed, ability to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions, ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, ability to use hands and operate office machinery, ability to walk, talk, and hear, ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Pay
$13.60 - $16.00 per hour
