Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories and patient records.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze them to locate sources of difficulties or rule out fractures/diseases.
• Provide chiropractic care and education, building positive doctor-patient relationships.
• Sell membership packages.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).
• A 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE); a recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
• A valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in the applicable state.
